Hollywood.  Melissa Lopez -  A native of Washinton D.C., Melissa has a BA from Florida International University.  She currently works for CBS Radio based in LA.   It was during her college years that she broke into radio working with Y100-Miami.  An incredible on-air personality, she then went to WIXX-Wisconsin.  It was there that she delivered a daily news report.  As co-host and producer she then took a spot at Hot 93.7 - Hartford, CT.  An incredible on/off air talent, Melissa has worked at Univision Communication Corp, iHeart Media and Ripped Radio Network. 


Follow Dr. Serena
Natural Medicine.  Dr. Serena Goldstein, ND - is a Naturopathic Doctor based in New York City.  A graduate of the National College of Natural Medicine.  She holds a B.S. in Psychology and biology from Arizona State University (ASU) having graduated from the Barrett Honors College, Cum Laude. 

Serena creates customized plans utilizing nutrition, botanical medicine, and homeopathy.  She educates her patients around conventional care and supplements to address symptoms and discover how/when they feel their best. Additionally she specializes in hormonal concerns such as weight, mood, stress, PMS, peri/menopause, and andropause.  Outspoken in regards to vaccines, pesticides and other chemicals proven to be harmful in immunotoxicology; she believes in instilling a proper foundation of health through diet, sleep, stress, and lifestyle. Dr. Serena has been published in MindBodyGreen, Better Nutrition, Organic Authority and Hearty Soul.  She has spoken at Lehman College and the American Cancer Society and is on the Advisory Board for Natural Practitioner Magazine.  Dr. Goldstein lends her expertise to the NYU-Hospital Poison Control Center.  Additional past achievements include performing at Carnegie Hall when she was 14 years old, and performing color guard for her high school at the 2008 Super Bowl - NY Giants 17 NE Patriots 14.

Environment.  Kristy Drutman - a graduate of UC Berkeley, she is host of the Brown Girl Green podcast and media series.  The show is dedicated to critical conversations around building an environmentally just society.  Kristy interviews environmental rights leaders and advocates who want to share their stories and talk about why workplace and member diversity and inclusiveness is important for environmental advocacy groups who want to create a sustainable world for future generations.  As a Filipina-American, Kristy is inspired to change the image of what it means to be an environmentalist in the 21st century. 

Recent Brown Girl Green episode of note featured Susana Reyes, the current National VP of the Sierra Club, and only woman of color member of their Board of Directors.  In the episode, Kristy covers how traditionally white environmental organizations like Sierra Club are working to meaningfully address the need for more diversity and inclusivity in the environmental field. 

Kristy is working with Ian to produce weekly pieces on such subjects as:
-Latinos and Filipinos in the Outdoors
-Intersectional feminism
-LGBTQ in the outdoors
-Mental health and environmental activism
-Indigenous Rights
-Water Rights (Flint, Michigan)
-City planning and climate resilience


Video Editing.  Johnson Cijulus is a talented video editor.  He transfers each program Discussion('s) audio format to deliver a brilliant visual presentation.  Apart from being a gifted video engineer and technician, he is also an incredible athlete who's talents display marvelously on the soccer (football) field.

Article Editing.  Joshua Demarest -  With a degree from Winthrop University, Joshua currently works for BookLogix.  Based outside of Atlanta, Georgia, his experience includes time at Georgia Quick Start, the main discretionary economic development incentive for the State of Georgia.  He has also worked with EdTech, startup Real Quick Learning and ATDC.  He additionally serves as Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, Gallows Hill.
